c. Advertising

We work with advertising and analytics partners, including Meta, who use cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website. These let us measure which ads bring people to StarSling and show ads to visitors on other sites and apps. For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, we do not set advertising cookies.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising across participating companies at YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices, or in the ad settings of the platform showing you the ad.

d. Third-Party Integrations

If you connect third-party services (e.g., GitHub, Slack, Jira), we collect information to enable the integration.

We use your information to:

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share limited identifiers with advertising partners (Google, Meta, and LinkedIn) so they can measure our ads and show ads to people who have visited this site. Under California law this sharing is treated as a "sale or share" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share your data with:

• Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or government request

We will ask for information sufficient to verify that the request is yours before we act on it, and we use that information only for verification. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission from you, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly.

6. Do Not Track

Your browser may offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for how these signals should be interpreted, and we do not respond to them. To stop interest-based advertising, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or the industry opt-out links in section 1c.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures (such as encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your information. However, no system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

8. International Data Transfer

We are based in the United States and process personal information there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
